Funding worth over €280,000 was announced last week for the change of use of two vacant and derelict Garda stations.

The detections were made as a result of risk profiling and intelligence led operations

36 year-old Thomas (Tommy) Egan was reported missing from Ballymurray, Knockcroghery since Sunday, October 12th.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to contact Athlone Garda Station.
