Two men arrested in connection with public order incidents in Athlone have been charged.
One man in his 30s and and another in his 40s received medical treatment during the incidents which happened last Wednesday in the Magazine Road area of the town.
Both men were treated for what are being described as minor injuries.

Subsequently, four men were arrested and two, both aged in their 30s appeared at a special sitting of Mullingar District Court on Sunday charged with public order offences.
Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to contact Athlone Garda Station.
