'The Sunflower Park' was officially opened by Rural and Community Development Minister Dara Calleary on Thursday evening.

It comes as the Government is set to publish a review of its National Development Plan this coming week.

There will be classes in cattle, horses, sheep, arts, turf, farm and garden and much more throughout the day.

Minister of State Seán Canney expressed his pleasure to see operations from both berths return to normal.

It's been closed since 2020 and was due to return to service last year following upgrade works at Dillon House.

The building's owner is trying to secure a new operator to run the business.

A temporary system was switched on earlier this year and will be in operation for two years until a permanent solution is in place.
