The Welsh port is one of the country's most vital trade routes, offering the shortest crossing between Ireland and the UK.

However, The Irish Road Hauliers Association has expressed dismay at the lack of port crossings on offer to it.

Spokesperson Eugene Drennan says their timeline has been reduced to four choices.
