A planning application for a permanent solution to the Lough Funshinagh flooding crisis is on course to be lodged by the end of the year.
That's according to OPW Minister and local TD Kevin 'Boxer' Moran who provided an update on the Co. Roscommon turlough in the Dáil yesterday.
A temporary system was switched on earlier this year and will be in operation for two years until a permanent solution is in place.
