The 23-year-old man appeared yesterday before Judge Peter White in Athlone District Court.

Coroner Brian O’Connor said this is unfortunately another inquest which has come before him in the past month, in which a young man has taken cocaine and alcohol.

He was welding a wheel rim of a farmyard trailer at around 6.20pm on July 18th of last year, in a shed at his parents' home nearby, when there was an explosion.
