Two Shannonside water supplies on EPA's 'at-risk' list

Two water supplies in the Shannonside region, serving over 25,000 people, were at risk of under-performing or failure last year.

They are the North East Regional in Co Roscommon and the Longford Central supply.

They were among 45 supplies around the country on the Environmental Protection Agency's remedial action list at the end of 2024.
