The truck smashed through a wall and then collided with the property – virtually demolishing the living room.  

It was discussed at a public meeting in Gortaganny in west Roscommon last night, attended by around 100 people.  

It's being chaired by Seamus Crawley, the chairman of Gortaganny Community Development, who welcomed the crowd to the meeting.

A total of 8,702 people in the county applied for money under the Humanitarian Assistance Scheme, behind only Galway and Mayo.
