It's after Judge Kenneth Connolly hit out at the 'absolute scourge' of drugs in Roscommon Circuit Court yesterday.

A local Sinn Fein TD says he's not surprised by the new figures.

The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 50s, was brought by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital, where her condition is being described as critical.
