Young people in Longford invited to take part in online music classes

Music Generation Longford is inviting young people to participate in a series of tuition programme in the coming weeks.

Fifteen musician educators from Longford have been recruited and trained to deliver three performance music education programmes.

Programmes will be offered in rock and pop music for small group tuition in guitar, base guitar, drums, singing, keyboard and ukulele.

Courses are also being offered in online songwriting and online music production.

Mary-Jane Sweeney Music Development Officer with Music Generation Longford says going online was not her first choice but now provides great options for more people to get involved.
