Gardai are investigating after a woman in her 20s died in a road crash in Westmeath.
The single vehicle crash occurred on the L1122 in Ballinagore, near Kilbeggan shortly after 8.15pm yesterday evening.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has been removed to Mullingar Regional Hospital for a postmortem examination.
