Two people are due to appear back in court on Tuesday next in relation to a number of alleged burglaries and criminal damage in the Carrick-on-Shannon area.
The two were detained earlier this week and brought to Carrick-on-Shannon station for questioning about the incidents at local business premises and churches in the district in recent months.
The arrests were part of a planned operation between gardai attached to the detective unit and regular unit at Carrick-on-Shannon.
