The Tánaiste has officially opened the new Roscommon Civil Defence headquarters.
The state-of-the-art facility is located outside of Roscommon town and cost over €3 million.
The purpose-built hub was designed by Collins Boyd Engineering and features a double height vehicle bay and an external boat storage shed.
It's also planned the new hub will be used for training new and existing volunteers.
Opening the facility, Tánaiste Simon Harris paid tribute to the work of the local civil defence volunteers:
