A special Father's Day vigil for Palestine will be held in Roscommon this Sunday. The event is being organised by members of the Roscommon Palestine Solidarity Campaign. It will take place from 1.30 pm in The Square in Roscommon town.
It follows a series of pro-Palestinian rallies in the county over the last number of months. Organsiers say the event will serve as a reminder of those suffering in Palestine this Father's Day. Aidan Casey says it's also symbolic vigil to support fathers who are struggling to keep their families safe:
