A local Credit Union branch has announced the expansion of its prestigious Educational Bursary Awards.
Since the launch of the bursary programme over 16 years ago, the Credit Union has awarded more than €150,000 in financial support to help its members pursue third-level education.
This year, Sligo Credit Union following its recent merger with Boyle and Keadue is increasing the total bursary fund to €14,000.

The bursary will be awarded to seven members, receiving €2,000 each.
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must be members of Sligo Credit Union which now includes Boyle and Keadue.
