Works for a significant extension at a Roscommon national school have now gone to tender.
The development at Athleague National School will see construction of a single-storey extension and a new car park.
A mainstream classroom, SEN classroom, ancillary accommodation and all associated works are included in the plans.
The estimated cost of the project is €1.1 million and construction is expected to take around 11 months.
The deadline for tender submissions is 12 noon on the 13th of June.
