A group of young people from Roscommon Comhairle na nOG are getting the chance to voice their opinions on issues important to them today.
The youth comittee are at Croke Park to take part in the bi-annual Comhairle na nÓg National Showcase event.
Comhairle na nÓg are youth councils that allow young people to have the opportunity to engage with decision makers at local and national levels.
Ruth Cunningham from Roscommon Comhairle na nÓG says many of their ideas have become a reality.
''The last national executive worked on more sustainable transport and they got a youth travel card which can be used across the country for people aged 19-25 so they can get half price off transport, so that was made and designed by young people and its now in use. ''
