Roscommon student says government should be giving more clarity

The closure of schools until January 31st is set to be agreed at Cabinet later. Under the plan, special schools will be exempt, while creches

The closure of schools until January 31st is set to be agreed at Cabinet later.

Under the plan, special schools will be exempt, while creches will be able to provide childcare for essential workers.

There is still no indication as to any implications for state exams later this year.

A west Roscommon Leaving cert student has called on the government to provide some clarity for all secondary school pupils.

Isabelle Flanagan, who attends Castlerea Community College, says the mixed messages from government in the last three days have led to a lot of frustration among students and teachers.
