Roscommon had the highest annual average consumption of water per meter per day of any county in Ireland in 2018.
New figures from the CSO show that the average usage on the county that year was 421 litres.
The average monthly consumption per meter per day in 2018 was 368 litres which was 3.1% higher than the 2017 figure of 357 litres

Leitrim's figure was 359 metres per day and Longford's was 394.
