Primary students in County Roscommon are appealing for motorists to slow down outside their school.
Pupils at Cloverhill National School carried out a survey which showed vehicles are regularly breaking the speed limit.
One car was clocked at 102 km per hour in the 50 km per zone while children were alighting from the school bus.
Staff say the speed limit signs on the N60 approaching the school are ineffective.
Principal Catherine Mullarkey says urgent safety works are needed:
