The local electoral area taking in Roscommon town and surrounding areas has recorded the highest 14 day incidence rate of Covid-19 cases in the Shannonside counties according to the latest figures available.
The area had 164 new cases confirmed in the last fortnight and an incidence rate of 721.
The Longford local electoral area taking in Longford town and surrounds records the second highest rate of 523 with a total of 84 cases recorded over the last couple of weeks.
The north Longford area has the third highest 14 day rate in the Shannonside region standing at 505 per 100,000 population.
The lowest 14 day rate in the region is recorded for the local electoral area including Carrick-on-Shannon town and surrounds which stands at 299 per 100,000.
