A Roscommon town GP is reminding over 85's in the local area that doctors in the local area won't have the vaccine until Thursday week the 25th of February.
Dr Valerie Morris says her practice has been getting a lot of calls from people over the past 24 hours who think they'll be called in to get the vaccine in the next couple of days.
The Roscommon GP says that due to the complicated measures necessary to keep the vaccine safe the rollout has to be strictly planned.

She says most GP's in the Roscommon town area won't have the vaccine until the 25th of this month, but they'll be giving people plenty of advance notice when their turn comes around.
