A well-known Roscommon designer says she's delighted a handcrafted witch has been recovered after it was stolen earlier this week. The witch was taken from outside a house in the Roscommon Town area in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Michelle Fallon said she was devastated after the witch was removed from outside her mother's home on the Lanesboro Road.
She quickly issued a public appeal for its safe return following what she described as a 'mean-spirited act'. Speaking to Shannonside News this morning, Michelle said the witch is a little worse for wear but she'll have it back on its broom for Halloween night:
