Roscommon carers representative says they're still waiting for vaccine approval

Roscommon carers represenative Bernie Dowling says the association is still waitng for a date when family carers will get the Coivd-19 vaccination.

Speaking today Bernie Dowling says the Carers Association called for family carers to be put in the priority groups in early December of last year but they still haven't heard a date for that to happen.

She says that family carers and the work they do to take care of their loved ones, often saving the state thousands, is very often forgotten.

Bernie Dowling says carers can't be forgotten this time around and they're determined to make sure it doesn't happen.
