A well-known Roscommon solicitor says the town's Chamber of Commerce is 'on life support'. Sean Mahon's comments come amid plans to get a new committee up and running ahead of the Christmas period. Over 60 business owners attended a LEO organised event at The Abbey Hotel today, including long-time members of the local business community.
Those in attendance spoke of the need for a strong Chamber in the town in order to boost the local economy. A former President of the Chamber, Mr Mahon says more people need to come on board:
