A road has been closed in Co. Longford following a road traffic collision.
The R198 at the north of Longford Town, on the entry road coming to Drumlish, has been closed after a serious accident.
Gardaí have not yet confirmed any fatalities.
Gardaí attended the scene overnight and investigations are ongoing.
Road diversions are in place which may cause delays for motorists this morning.
