Funeral details have been announced for a popular County Louth couple killed in a road crash last week.
Tributes are pouring in for Robert and Kathleen Marks, who died in a collision near Greenore on Thursday.
Robert Marks, who was in his eighties, and his wife Kathleen, who was in her seventies, died at the scene of the crash on the R173 at the Bush in north Louth.
Their funeral Mass will take place tomorrow at the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea in Boher, following repose at their home this weekend.
Tributes continue to pour in for the couple.
Kathleen is remembered as a warm and friendly presence who always had time for everyone.
Robert was Honorary President of Cooley Kickhams GAA Club and famously presented a framed club jersey to then US President Joe Biden during his visit to north Louth in 2023.
He was also a founding member of Cooley Credit Union, where he served for more than fifty years.
