Power outage affecting hundreds of customers in Longford

Over six-hundred customers are without electricity this afternoon in Longford town.

A major outage has been reported since 3.30pm.

Initially, 1500 people were without power after the fault was reported in the Ballinalee area - but this has reduced to just over six-hundred in the last thirty minutes.

The ESB power check estimates power will be restored after 7pm tonight.
