New figures from the Central Statistics Office showed that there are over 5 and a half thousand people in the Shannonside region on the Live Register. There has been a 1% decrease on Septembers figures for the region. Longford has the highest amount of people on the Live Register with 2012. There are 247 people under the age of 25 from the county currently on the register.
Roscommon is just behind with 1947 on the register, 225 of which are under 25. Finally Leitrim currently have just under 1700 people on the Live register with 144 of those under 25. Nationally there is 169,933 people on the live register for October.
