Over 110 people are waiting for a bed today at Hospitals across the Shannonside region.
Figures from the INMO are reporting that Sligo University Hospital Emergency Department is extremely busy with 39 people on trolleys or waiting elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Galway is also reporting bed shortages today, with 35 people on trolleys.

17 people are waiting for beds in the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar, with a further eight people at Tullamore A&E.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there are currently 12 patients waiting in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
