Over 1,000 customers in the Shannonside region are without power this afternoon. ESB restoration crews are currently working to restore power to homes and businesses. Carrigallen in County Leitrim remains one the worst hit areas in the region with close to 800 customers currently without power.
There is over 300 premises in Ballymahon without power whilst almost 200 customers in the Longford town area are experiencing power outages. Carrick on Shannon is another area affected this afternoon with over 200 homes, businesses and farms without power. ESB Networks are advising customers to regularly check the Power check website for the latest estimated restoration times for each area.
