Motorists are being advised of traffic restrictions around Boyle this evening due to 5K race event. The race will commence on Abbey Terrace at 8 o'clock and is due to finish at around 9pm. There will be restrictions in place for the duration of the event.
The route includes the N61, Abbey Terrace, Shilling Hill, Wooden Bridge Road and Boyle Marina. Dan Dooner spoke to race organiser Melissa Doohan earlier, who said all proceeds will go towards the Jack and Jill Foundation:
