A Leitrim Councillor has praised the work of emergency services after a lorry carrying a load of straw caught fire. Fianna Fáil's Paddy O'Rourke was driving the vehicle when it caught fire in Newtowngore this week.
No injuries were reported following the incident. Cllr O'Rourke praised the efforts of those who attended the scene:
