Mandatory hotel quarantine is now in place

Passengers arriving into Ireland without a negative PCR result will also be required to quarantine

Mandatory hotel quarantine has come into effect for all passengers arriving into Ireland from 33 countries deemed "high risk" for Covid-19 transmission.

Travellers are required to book a 12-night stay from a selection of hotels.

However, this could be reduced if a person receives a negative Covid-19 test on day ten of quarantine.
