A man in his 60s is still fighting for his life in hospital after an incident in Co Longford. He was found with serious injuries in Drumlish on Saturday evening at around 7.30. He was taken to Mullingar hospital in a critical condition.
His last known movements were three days earlier - last Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at Currabawn, Drumlish. Local Fine Gael Senator Paraic Brady is asking the public to help the gardai with their investigation:
