A man has appeared in court following an alleged disturbance in county Longford. Gardaí received the report of the incident, which occurred in the Shanmullagh area, close to Ballinamuck shortly before 6pm on Sunday.
A man in his 40s was later arrested. He has since been charged and appeared in Longford district court this morning.
