Longford remains the county with the second highest Covid incidence rate in the country after a further ten cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
New figures show 59% of all cases of the virus confirmed in the Shannonside region in the last two weeks have occurred in Longford.
A further 359 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed - the lowest daily figure since mid-December as well as 14 additional deaths.
Locally, Longford's Covid incidence rate remains the second highest in the country, after ten further cases were confirmed, bringing its per 100,00 rate to 396 - just behind Offaly which records a rate of 401.
276 cases of the virus have been confirmed across Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon b in the last two weeks - of which 162 were in longford, representing almost 59% of all cases.
Roscommon has had 74 cases and Leitrim 40.
Longford's five day moving average is 14, compared to seven in Roscommon and just one in Leitrim.
