A senior health professional working in the Shannonside region says people need to treat everyone they meet a possible Covid infection risk.
66 cases of Covid were reported in the Shannonside region last night - , 30 in Longford,24 in Roscommon and 12 in Leitrim.
People across the Shannonside region are being urged to do all they can to fight the spread of Covid 19 in the community by staying at home and limiting their contacts.

Dr Breda Smyth, Director of Public Health in the West says community transmission is extremely high and says we must all act as if every person we meet is an infection risk.
