A Leitrim TD says the Justice Minister hasn't acted quickly enough in amending a law which prohibits the identification of child victims of crime, according to Sinn Fein.
Last October, a ruling saw the Children Act interpreted to mean a young person who was the victim of a crime couldn't be identified in court.
Minister Helen McEntee says she'll bring proposals on how to resolve the problem to Cabinet next week.
Sinn Fein Justice spokesperson Martin Kenny says it shouldn't have taken 4 months to begin fixing the issue.
