A Drumshanbo GP is calling on the HSE to improve communication with local practises about the delivery of Covid 19 vaccines.
Dr Alan Loftus from the Drumshambo Health Centre was expecting vaccines for its clinics for the over 80s which was due to begin today but had no communication on when they might arrive.
They arrived early this morning just in time, but it was a concern for the practice who had spent a considerable amount of time contacting people to arrange appointments.

Dr Loftus says not having the information causes a lot of frustration.
