A Leitrim Councillor has called for the EV scrappage scheme to be reintroduced.
Fianna Fáil's Paddy O'Rourke brought forward a motion on the issue to yesterday's Leitrim County Council meeting.
The pilot scheme was brought in to encourage motorists with older diesel or petrol cars to switch to Electric.
The scheme proved extremely popular and was fully subscribed within an hour of going live.
