The HSE says there are plans to add further car parking facilities at Roscommon University Hospital.
Details released to Councillor Gareth Scahill at the most recent meeting of the Regional Health Forum West confirmed hospital management are currently engaged with the Estates Department.
Those discussions centre around the development of a Spatial Plan for the site which would include additional parking.

Cllr Scahill told the forum that the age demographic of the majority of people attending the hospital meant there was a 'massive need' for parking on site.
