The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified of 13 additional deaths related to COVID-19.
As of midnight Monday 19th Octoberh, the HPSC has been notified of 1,269 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Of the cases today,657 are men / 609 are women
63% are under 45 years of age, and the median age is 34 years old.
221 of the cases are in Meath, with 203 in Dublin, 116 in Cork, and 80 in Cavan.
The remaining 649 cases are spread across all remaining counties.
Longford has recorded an additional 14 new cases of Covid in these latest figures, and there are less than five recorded for both Roscommon and Leitrim.
As of 2pm today 312 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, with 34 of them in ICU.
There have been 13 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
