The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has been notified of 47 more deaths related to COVID-19.
It's also been notified of 1,466 more confirmed cases nationally since midnight last night.
472 of the new cases are in Dublin, 106 in Galway, 103 in Cork, 77 in Waterford, 70 in Limerick and the remaining 638 cases are spread across all other counties.

Longford has registered 13 new cases, with 11 in Roscommon and fewer than 5 in Leitrim.
As of 2pm today, 1,567 COVID-19 patients are in hospital, with 216 of them being treated in ICU.
