The Minister for Housing says providing millions of euro of funding for urban projects in the Shannonside Northern sound region is only one part of the puzzle when it comes to balanced regional development.
Almost forty million euro has been announced for projects across Longford, Westmeath, Cavan and Monaghan today as part of the government's Urban Regeneration and Development Fund.
Longford' town's Camlin Quarter is set to receive over ten million euro funding to improve the lower end of the county town's Main Street.
