Gardaí in Longford are appealing for witnesses after a man was left in a critical condition over the weekend. The man in his 60s was discovered with serious injuries in Drumlish at around 7:30pm on Saturday night. He was taken by ambulance to Mullingar General Hospital where his condition has been described as critical.
His last known movements were at Currabawn around 7pm last Wednesday evening. Investigating officers are looking to speak to anyone who was in the Currabawn/Mohill road areas on Wednesday to get in touch. Anyone with any information should contact Longford Garda Station on 043 3350570.
