A north Longford cottage survived a fire last weekend.
Nanny Murphy's Cottage in Moyne is predominantly used tourist accommodation throughout the year.
However, last Sunday night, a fire broke out causing some damage to the building.

There were no injuries or deaths as it was closed due a deep clean.
