An 'enforcement operation' carried out by the Department of Agriculture on a Roscommon farm over the weekend has been described as 'inhumane.'
Dozens of cows were destroyed by Department of Agriculture officials following animal welfare concerns at the farm.
Videos circulating on social media show the operation was carried out with support and assistance from Gardaí.

The IFA says the incident was 'very poor practice' and are now seeking an urgent meeting with the Department's Chief Veterinary Officer about protocols to deal with alleged welfare and animal traceability breaches.
