Eleven new cases of Covid in Longford and highest incidence rate nationally again this evening

437 new cases of covid 19 have been confirmed and no additional deaths. 184 of the cases are in Dublin, 31 in Limerick, 26 in

437 new cases of covid 19 have been confirmed and no additional deaths.

184 of the cases are in Dublin, 31 in Limerick, 26 in Donegal, 20 in Galway, 18 in Offaly and the remaining 158 cases are spread across all other counties.

418 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 103 are in ICU.

The 14-day incidence rate per 100 thousand people is 167.

Eleven new cases of Covid have been reported in Longford today and fewer than five in Leitrim in Roscommon.

Longford's incidence rate remains the highest in the country at 398.

Roscommon's rate is 105 and Leitrim's is 68.7.
