A Donamon woman has become the latest person to show their interest in taking Anthony Waldron's seat on Roscommon County Council. Mairead Kenny who ran in the Seanad elections earlier this year, has formally expressed an interest in the position.
So far, Michael Holland Senior, Gail Murray and Ernie Draper have indicated their interest in replacing Waldron on the council. The deadline for expressions of interest in the vacant seat is tomorrow with Roscommon councillors set to decide on the successful candidate later this month.
